Vintura ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Vintura mobile application and the website at vintura.wine. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile photo. You may also sign in using Apple Sign-In, in which case we receive your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose, your email address.
You may provide wine preferences, tasting notes, and other profile information ("Wine DNA"). This data is used to personalize your experience and improve recommendations.
When you chat with Vina, our AI sommelier, your messages and Vina's responses are stored to provide conversation history. Conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI on our behalf.
We automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and general usage analytics to improve the app. This data is collected through Sentry (error monitoring) and may include anonymized performance metrics.
With your permission, we collect your approximate location to show wine events and experiences near you. Location data is only accessed while the app is in use and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status via RevenueCat but do not collect or store your payment card details.

Vintura is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under the legal drinking age, we will promptly delete that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on our website with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of Vintura after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
